...and the unforeseeable that which your life becomes

I recently watched a movie called “Appaloosa” and one of the lines at the beginning is so true. In the movie Everett rhapsodizes “Life has a way of making the foreseeable that which never happens and the unforeseeable that which your life becomes.” My entire life seems to have been; “the unforeseeable that which your life becomes.”

Life seems to fall consequence to circumstance and timing. We’ve all watched movies or had discussion about; if I could go back in time I’d change… well like I said we’ve all had those thoughts. Even though consequence, circumstance and timing do have influence on our lives, good choices and the ability to know the difference between a good and bad decision is equally and much more important. Both God and men have created laws so we are rewarded by the cause and effect of our good and bad decisions. I’ve believe that by following these laws “the unforeseeable that which your life becomes” usually produces a much favorable outcome.

We’ve all made poor decisions, and good ones too. I’ve made many, but my goal is to make less of the bad ones and more of the good ones.

My Dad also had a quote he used often; “The harder you work the luckier you get.” That’s true too!

God bless!
